The Ontario ML/ARD Field School set out to answer questions about the geochemical characterization of mine waste and how mine waste characterization relates to field observations.
Our Director of Mining Services, Sarah Barabash, joined Lindsay Robertson at Elemental Geoscience to host the event.
Scheduled as a day of in-class learning, followed by three days in the field, it was an opportunity to get hands-on experience while learning from leading practitioners in geochemistry, mine waste management, mine operations, and closure.
It was all supported by a range of industry partners.
More information is available on the Elemental Geoscience website.
